This is a quick question, somewhat unrelaed to Tau. Can u use a special close-combat weapon (like a power fist) for all your attacks? I know you can use only one type of special CC weapon. But can a terminator use his powerfist for both of his attacks (or 3 if he charges?). Ugh, I'm not sure and it only hurts because Tau have only one special Cc weapon (Aun'shi's honor blade).
yes so for example space marine hero with power fist/bolt pistol x number of attacks. so he gets x power fist attacks

If you have 2 (one-handed) special close combat weapons you choose which one you want to use, eg my warboss (choppa in one 'and, klaw on the uvva), usually uses his choppa when charging, but will use his klaw if he is assaulting a vehicle. In each case he gets his full number of attacks with the weapon he chooses.
I can't mix and match in the same turn, eg 1 choppa 3 powa klaw attacks. But I coud use choppa one turn and klaw the next.

so you cant use two close combat weapons in the same initiative step
so if i had a power weapon and a normal sword and a lightning claw, i could only choose to use the lightnig claw or power weapon. so if i had 3 attacks i could not use 1 power weapon atack and 2 lightning claw attacks?

Yeah basically. The idea is that in the middle of close combat, a warrior isnt going to be able to switch between weapons, since everything is so chaotic.....he'll pick one weapon and stick with it. Use Logan Grimnar's Axe of Morkai for example. He can use it as either a Power fist or a power weapon at +1 strength, but not both in the same turn. There are advantages and disadvantages to both options.
Other thing to note. You can only carry two weapons. Normally this is a close combat weapon (chainsword, choppa, power weapon, powerfist, etc), and a pistol-type weapon. If you choose to go with lightning claws as your close combat weapon, you HAVE to choose a PAIR of lightning claws....you cant choose both a lightning claw and another power weapon. Keep in mind though that lightning claws do count as power weapons too.
Unless it's in the specific unit entry, I don't know of anything that says you HAVE to take a second lightning claw. What it does say is that to claim +1 attack for having an additional close combat weapon when wielding lightning claws, you need 2 lightning claws. You could have a lightning claw and a.. err.. a not-lightning claw. You just wouldn't get +1 attack when using the lightning claw.
